Lead Quality Engineer Job Opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Lead Quality Engineer to join our Embedded Finance Team at Lloyds Banking Group. As a key member of the Engineering team, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of the quality roadmap, including creating testing strategies and coordinating automation processes.

About the Role
  • Develop and implement comprehensive testing frameworks to ensure high-quality software delivery.
  • Collaborate with developers, business partners, and product managers to design and implement testing suites that support our continuous deployment pipeline.
  • Hire and grow a team of Quality Engineers, providing technical leadership and coaching to help them develop their skills.
Requirements
  • Strong background in Quality Engineering, including automated testing frameworks and best practices.
  • Prior experience with cloud environments (e.g., GCP) and testing infrastructure is highly desirable.
  • Proven leadership skills in guiding Quality Engineering teams or complex programs using Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in coding languages such as Java, Python, or similar.
