Job Summary:

The London Clinic is seeking an exceptional Allied Health Professional to take on the role of Senior Lead, providing professional oversight and governance of the Allied Health Profession. This position offers a unique opportunity to drive workforce transformation programmes and lead on initiatives such as Apprenticeships, Preceptorships, Rotations, International Recruitment, Return to Practice, and AHP Support Workforce Development.

This is a substantive part-time role with 15 hours of protected time each month for leadership duties.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the profession at senior management level in care groups.
  • Serve as the single point of contact for the profession, utilizing professional expertise to support AHP workforce development.
  • Represent the profession with NHS England, Higher Education Institutions, IHPN, Integrated Care Systems across London, and professional bodies.
  • Provide profession-specific professional leadership.
  • Represent AHPs in the Clinical Practice Development Committee, coordinating and overseeing the development and communication of profession-specific guidance and education.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Physiotherapy, or Speech and Language Therapy.
  • Extensive leadership or management experience in AHP.

Salary and Benefits:

This role comes with a competitive salary range equivalent to Band 7 based on skills and experience, with opportunities for career development and growth within The London Clinic.
