Electrical Inspector Job Description

**Job Summary**

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Electrical Inspector to join our team in Glasgow. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in various commercial and industrial settings.

**Key Responsibilities:**

* Conduct comprehensive Electrical Installation Condition Reports (EICRs) in commercial and industrial environments.
* Inspect and test electrical systems, including wiring, circuits, switchgear, and control equipment.
* Identify and document defects, non-compliances, and potential safety hazards.
* Provide clear and concise reports detailing the condition of electrical installations, including recommendations for remedial actions.

**Requirements:**

* A minimum of 3 years of experience in electrical installation work
* City & Guilds or equivalent) qualification in Inspection and Testing.
* NVQ Level 3
* 18th Edition
* In-depth knowledge of BS 7671, IET Wiring Regulations, and other relevant standards and codes.
* Strong understanding of electrical systems in commercial and industrial settings.
* Valid UK driving licence (or equivalent, depending on location).

**What We Offer:**

* Salary of £46,519, door to door travel + overtime (OTE of £55k)
* 30 days of holiday including Bank holidays
* 45 hours of work per week

* Healthcare scheme after 6 months of probation
