Role Overview:

A Front of House Server at Bill's Team Members is a key member of our team, responsible for delivering exceptional guest experiences. This role involves crafting unforgettable experiences by hosting with flair and personality, consistently delivering exceptional guest service while maintaining a strong commitment to health and safety regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Menu Knowledge: Acquire comprehensive knowledge of the full menu, promotions, drinks specifications, restaurant layout, and site-specific working practices.
  2. Take Ownership of the Floor: Assume responsibility for the floor, showcasing a proactive and dedicated approach to duties, overseeing tasks, managing responsibilities effectively, and performing additional duties assigned by the management.
  3. Bar Knowledge: Be cross-trained on the bar to provide assistance when needed and support with maintaining high cleaning standards, helping create a flexible working environment.
  4. Host with the Most: Assist in welcoming guests to the café and bar, giving that first great impression, setting the tone for their visit.
  5. Provide Feedback: Provide feedback to managers regarding any guest comments, positive or negative, to enhance overall service quality.
  6. Allergy Procedures: Adhere to Bill's Allergy procedures and legislation guidelines at all times, ensuring the safety of guests with allergies and dietary requirements.
  7. Company Updates: Keep informed of all company and restaurant-specific updates by attending meetings or utilizing other communication channels.
  8. Front-of-House Cleanliness: Diligently maintain cleanliness in all front-of-house areas, including regular checks on guest toilets, to present all indoor and outdoor restaurant areas in the best possible way.
  9. Correct Procedures: Exhibit a commitment to continuous learning and adherence to correct procedures and operating systems, staying informed about Bill's specific protocols and incorporating safe working practices into daily responsibilities.
  10. Health and Safety: Actively put health and safety guidelines into practice, demonstrating a strict commitment to prioritizing the well-being of oneself and others in the restaurant, ensuring that safety measures are consistently applied to create a secure environment for everyone.
  11. Collaboration: Work closely with the entire restaurant team to maintain a smooth and efficient workflow, involving effective communication and cooperation to create a harmonious restaurant atmosphere.
  12. Food and Drinks Timings: Closely monitor the timing and quality of food and beverages, promptly notifying managers of any potential issues or concerns.
  13. Training: Take responsibility for completing all mandatory and job-specific training to perform tasks safely and correctly, engaging proactively in continuous learning to enhance job knowledge and contribute to a safe and efficient workplace.
  14. Prioritizing Guest Service: Prioritize guest service at all times, following guest service steps, and maintaining a positive attitude with a friendly smile.
  15. Opening and Closing Duties: Maintain efficiency by completing all opening and closing duties for the restaurant meticulously, ensuring a smooth start and end to each day's operations, contributing to an exceptional guest experience.
