Morgan Hunt Recruitment is seeking a skilled HGV Driver for a winter maintenance contract based in Skye. This is a great opportunity to earn a decent income and have a fully furnished apartment with internet and all bills included.
Job Requirements- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 licence
- Have a CPC and Taco Digi Card
- Pass random Drug and Alcohol Tests
- Hourly rate of £17.52 per hour
- Overtime paid at £26.28 per hour (Time and Half) after 40 hours
- Night shift paid at 1.3 for the first 40 hours and 1.8 for anything over 40 hours
- Standbys paid depending on working pattern
- Full week pay of £110
This is a long-term contract for a minimum of 5 months with an immediate start date. There may be the opportunity for a permanent job at the end of the season for the right candidate.
The role involves HGV driving of a Class 2 vehicle for winter maintenance work. Operatives work on a rota basis and undertake a variety of road maintenance tasks, including driving gritters.
