Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer

As a Licensed Aircraft Maintenance Engineer at easyJet, you will be part of a renowned team that delivers innovative solutions to ensure the highest standards of aircraft performance. With a focus on technical excellence, you will play a key role in maintaining Europe's highest technical dispatch reliability, as recognized by Airbus.
The role involves carrying out scheduled tasks assigned by the Duty Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor in accordance with approved maintenance documentation. You will be required to demonstrate applicable technical knowledge of aircraft and possess hand skills to carry out tasks assigned. Additionally, you will be competent in the use of aircraft maintenance documentation and computer-based reporting and recording systems.
Supervision of small teams as required by the operation and work requirement is also a key aspect of this role. To be successful, you will need to hold a UK Part 66 B1 license and authorization or equivalent on company aircraft. You will also need to demonstrate up-to-date knowledge of applicable airworthiness legislation and have a minimum of 3 years operational experience in a line maintenance environment.
Key responsibilities include:
- Carrying out scheduled tasks assigned by the Duty Engineer/Maintenance Supervisor
- Demonstrating applicable technical knowledge of aircraft
- Supervising small teams as required by the operation and work requirement
- Meeting deadlines and overcoming operational problems

This is a full-time role based in Luton, working 10.75 hour shifts with a 4x4 shift pattern and occasional travel requirements to easyJet's headquarters or network locations.
