Job Details

We are seeking an experienced SEN Tutor to join our team in Leeds and surrounding areas. As a School SEN Tutor, you will play a vital role in supporting children who require additional help, including those with ASC, ADHD, PMLD, SEMH and associated challenging behavior. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and delivering lessons that cater to the individual needs of students. This may involve adapting curriculum content, creating personalized learning plans and using technology effectively to enhance learning experiences. Additionally, they will supervise and plan activities outside the classroom, ensuring progress is accurately recorded and communicated to relevant stakeholders.

A salary of £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience, is offered for this position. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a range of benefits and opportunities for professional development. Key Responsibilities:
* Plan and deliver lessons tailored to individual student needs
* Adapt curriculum content to meet diverse learning requirements
* Use technology effectively to enhance learning experiences
* Supervise and plan activities outside the classroom

* Collaborate with colleagues, parents and carers to achieve positive outcomes

Requirements:
* Eligibility to work in the UK or residency status
* Overseas criminal clearance or willingness to apply
* Child-enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to apply
* Previous or relevant experience working with SEND children
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Minimum three months' UK residency
