About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Weekend Cook to join our team at Sodexo Ltd. As a Weekend Cook, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking meals for our residents, ensuring high standards of health, hygiene, and safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Plan, prepare, and cook meals to the highest standards
  • Ensure routine day-to-day cleaning of kitchen equipment, work surfaces, and storage areas
  • Manage and control all food, including receiving and checking stock, and monitoring portion control
  • Collect and record routine data, and perform daily checks, including temperature control
  • Report any accidents, near misses, or damage to the Catering supervisor
  • Ensure the Catering Department is opened and closed at the required times, and secured when not in use
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in hands-on cooking
  • Experience of working to strict food hygiene standards
  • Ability to follow recipes and cook a variety of cuisines
