About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Domestic Abuse Specialist Team Leader to join our team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a team of IDVA's, managing referrals, and providing emotional support and guidance to individuals affected by domestic abuse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead a team of IDVA's and manage referrals to ensure effective delivery of care and support to service users.
  • Work closely with service users to understand their needs and develop personalized support plans.
  • Liaise with other agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services and achieve positive outcomes for service users.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records and reports to ensure compliance with legislation and organizational requirements.
  • Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies to improve service delivery and outcomes.
Requirements
  • Proven experience of working with victims of domestic abuse or suitable transferable skills.
  • Good knowledge of legislation and domestic abuse support strategies.
  • Experience of leading a team within a domestic abuse service is desirable.
  • IDVA qualification is highly desirable.
