Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled Handyman to join our client's team. As a Handyman, you will be responsible for performing various tasks related to property maintenance and repairs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Installation of furniture, lights, home appliances, and wall mounting of mirrors and artwork as required.
  • Liaise with cleaning companies to ensure end-of-tenancy cleans are arranged and performed to standard.
  • Inspect properties after/before tenants arrive.
  • Conduct repairs as needed, including carpentry, handyman tasks, and light painting tasks.
  • Troubleshoot and repair where possible. Where applicable, arrange a repair with a specialist appliance engineer.
  • Conduct inspections and provide a snag list for the apartments.
  • Liaise with contractors on maintenance tasks, including appliances, plumbing, electrical work, etc.
  • Assist guests with maintenance/technical issues, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry-related tasks.
  • Assist in delivering missing items to clients, such as glassware, lighting, and small appliances.
  • Update the Operations Manager on the status of tasks.

Candidate Specifications/Requirements:

  • Valid UK Driving License
  • Experience working as a general maintenance/repairs technician or similar
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Great problem-solving skills and flexibility
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must be positive and a go-getter team player
