Job Summary

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior Legal Advisor to join our Commercial Legal team at dmg:media. As a key member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in providing strategic legal advice and support across various aspects of our operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide expert legal advice and support on a wide range of media-related matters, including AdTech, content licensing, intellectual property, privacy, and regulatory compliance.
  • Review and negotiate agreements with advertising and technology partners, content creators, production companies, talent, and other third parties.
  • Advise on consumer law, promotional/marketing campaigns, and programmatic advertising matters.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders and executives to provide proactive legal guidance and risk management advice.
  • Stay informed of industry trends, regulatory developments, and best practices in media and advertising law.

Requirements

  • Experience in technology, media, and advertising law, preferably with experience in a media company or law firm specializing in media and technology-related matters.
  • Strong understanding of AdTech, contract law, consumer affairs, content licensing, and privacy regulations.
  • Experience managing and mentoring junior legal staff.
  • Familiarity with emerging technologies, content development, programmatic advertising, and consumer media.
