Security Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Officer to join our team in Launceston and surrounding areas. As a Security Officer, you will be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of our clients' premises and personnel.
Key Responsibilities- Access Control: Control access in and out of the building, ensuring that only authorized personnel are granted entry.
- Premises Patrol: Conduct regular patrols of the premises to ensure that security protocols are being adhered to and to identify any potential security risks.
- Disturbance Management: Deal with disturbances and security incidents in a professional and effective manner.
- First Aid and Incident Reporting: Provide first aid and report incidents to management as necessary.
To be successful in this role, you will need to have:
- Excellent Communication Skills: You will need to be able to communicate effectively with staff, visitors, and management.
- Strong Problem-Solving Skills: You will need to be able to think critically and solve problems in a calm and professional manner.
- Ability to Work Independently: You will need to be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Valid SIA License: A valid SIA license is preferred, but training can be provided for suitable candidates.
