- Train and mentor staff on safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure the site operates within the Quality Management System, adhering to regulatory requirements and company standards.
- Develop and implement quality control procedures to ensure products meet customer requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and implement process improvements.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers to ensure their needs are met and exceeded.
- Collaborate with sales and marketing teams to identify business opportunities and develop strategies to capture them.
- Ensure site capacity is optimized to meet commercial ambitions.
- Develop and manage budgets to ensure cost-effective operations and minimize waste.
- Identify areas for cost savings and implement process improvements to reduce expenses.
- Collaborate with finance teams to ensure accurate forecasting and budgeting.
- Lead and develop a team of approximately 65 colleagues, providing guidance and support to ensure their success.
- Mentor and coach staff to enhance their skills and knowledge.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation.
- Confirmed experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in a leadership role.
- Understanding of health and safety legislation and its practical application in the workplace, backed up by IOSH qualification.
- Detailed understanding of GMP and Quality Management Systems.
- Confirmed experience working within a medical device or pharmaceutical organization.
