Job Overview


We are seeking an experienced Procurement Specialist to join our dynamic team at Serve Talent. This role is responsible for sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing high-quality components and materials, managing Bill of Materials, and building strong relationships with suppliers.



About the Job



  • Purchasing & Procurement:

    • Sourcing, negotiation, and purchase of high-quality components and materials in line with production requirements.

  • BoM (Bill of Materials) Management:

    • Collaboration with engineering and production teams to understand BoM requirements.

  • Order Management:

    • Issue Purchase Orders, monitor order status, and expedite orders as needed to maintain a smooth production flow.

  • Supplier Management:

    • Building and maintaining strong relationships with suppliers, ensuring the best pricing, quality, and lead times.

  • Cost Management:

    • Negotiation of pricing, terms, and delivery to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.

  • Inventory Coordination:

    • Collaboration with inventory and warehousing teams to monitor stock levels, avoiding shortages or excess inventory.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

    • Active collaboration with engineering, production, and quality teams to support project goals and resolve issues promptly.


Requirements and Qualifications



  • Proven experience in a purchasing or buying role, ideally within a manufacturing or engineering environment.
  • Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems and solid understanding of BoM requirements.
  • Strong negotiation skills with the ability to develop and maintain supplier relationships.
  • High attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong communication and organizational skills.
