Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Delivery Manager to support the delivery of nuclear infrastructure projects within the UK. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction project management, with experience working on complex projects within a regulated environment.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget. This will involve close collaboration with cross-functional teams, including engineering, procurement, and construction.

The role requires a deep understanding of NEC4 contracts, CDM regulations, and Health and Safety best practices. Additionally, the candidate should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead project delivery teams to ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the required quality standards
  • Develop and implement project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and monitoring progress
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and mitigate risks, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and industry standards
  • Ensure effective communication and coordination across the project team, including regular meetings, progress updates, and issue resolution
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil Engineering or related discipline
  • Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or working towards this status
  • Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS) certification
  • Excellent knowledge of NEC4 contracts, CDM regulations, and Health and Safety best practices
  • Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively at all levels of the organization
Salary and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary range of £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus benefits including a contributory pension scheme, life insurance, and annual leave entitlement.

The successful candidate must be eligible for SC clearance and hold British citizenship. Due to the nature of the project, only candidates who meet these requirements will be considered.

Please note that the client site is located in the Argyll and Bute area, and the successful candidate will be required to travel to site 5 days a week. A company vehicle may be provided, but candidates must have their own transport available.
