About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Grounds Maintenance Operative to join our team at Commercial Services Group. As a Grounds Maintenance Operative, you will be responsible for ensuring the health and safety of our customers' outdoor spaces.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct daily inspections of outdoor spaces to identify potential hazards and take corrective action to prevent accidents.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks such as grass cutting, border works, and hedge trimming to maintain the appearance and safety of outdoor spaces.
- Operate a variety of equipment including lawn mowers, trimmers, and other machinery to ensure efficient and effective maintenance.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement maintenance schedules and plans to ensure optimal use of resources.
- Provide excellent customer service by responding promptly to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
Requirements
- Proven experience in grounds maintenance or a related field.
- Knowledge of horticulture and operational procedures.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Valid full (clean) driving license and ability to commute to Tonbridge for work.
