We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Kitchen Assistant to join our team at Somerdale Pavilion, working on behalf of St Monica Trust.
Key Responsibilities- Assist in the preparation and cooking of meals, ensuring high standards of quality and presentation.
- Contribute to the maintenance of a clean and safe kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety protocols.
- Support the catering team in the delivery of excellent customer service, responding to customer needs and preferences.
- Participate in the ordering and stock management of ingredients and supplies, ensuring efficient use of resources.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.
- Strong communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines, with a willingness to learn and develop new skills.
- Basic food hygiene knowledge, with a willingness to obtain a Level 2 food hygiene certificate.
- Ability to work part-time, with flexibility to work some Saturdays.

Salary ranges: £6.42 - £11.48 per hour.
Part-time position, with flexible hours and some Saturday work required.
