About the Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Financial Manager to join our Finance Team in St Helens Metropolitan Borough Council. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery and promotion of the Finance Business Partnering model.

The ideal candidate will possess a sound knowledge of accounting principles and techniques, excellent communication and team working skills, and high levels of self-confidence. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality financial support across the Council, including timely, accurate, and high-quality budget and financial management advice.

Salary: £45,000 - £55,000 per annum

Job Requirements:

  • CCAB/CIMA qualification
