Job Title: Electrician

We are seeking a skilled Electrician to join our team at Building Recruitment Company. As an Electrician, you will be responsible for providing high-quality electrical repairs, maintenance, and planned preventative maintenance services to our clients.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Undertake repair, maintenance, and fault-finding on electrical systems in domestic and commercial properties.
  • Install new electrical systems and maintain existing ones while upholding safety guidelines and complying with current codes and regulations.
  • Conduct electrical inspections, tests, and audits of systems within our properties.
  • Report on any faults or defects to your line manager.
  • Control and monitor stock levels held within designated company vehicles.
  • Carry out minor asbestos works and install and maintain close circuit television.
  • Ensure the care and condition of all vehicles, plant, tools, and equipment issued to or used by you.
  • Communicate any defects requiring repair to your line manager.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation and Maintenance.
  • 18th Edition qualification (2380/81 or BS7671).
  • Test & Inspection certificate – C&G.
  • A comprehensive knowledge of all aspects of electrical installation work.
  • Experience of working as part of a team.
  • Full clean driving licence.
