Job Title: Male SEN Teaching Assistant - Autism Support Specialist

Job Summary: Tradewind Recruitment is working with a special school in Harborne who are committed to providing exceptional education and support for children with a range of special educational needs.

Key Responsibilities:

* Provide one-to-one and small group support to pupils with autism and complex needs
* Implement strategies to promote social skills development, communication, and emotional regulation
* Assist with academic tasks and support pupils in accessing the curriculum
* Collaborate with teachers and SENCOs to monitor progress and evaluate the effectiveness of interventions
* Build positive relationships with pupils, parents, and external agencies to ensure a holistic approach to support

Requirements:

* Experience supporting pupils with autism and complex needs in an educational setting
* Strong understanding of autism spectrum disorders and strategies for supporting individuals with complex needs
