Job Description: Infrastructure Provisioner

We're looking for an experienced Infrastructure Provisioner to join our team at PayPoint. As an Infrastructure Provisioner, you'll play a key role in driving improvements through automation to enhance reliability, availability, and performance of Infrastructure services.

About the Role:
As an Infrastructure Provisioner, you'll be responsible for identifying and delivering opportunities for technical and process improvements driven by automation. You'll also ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, and Cyber Security Essentials.

Responsibilities:
  • Drive improvements through automation to enhance reliability, availability, and performance of Infrastructure services.
  • Identify and deliver opportunities for technical and process improvements driven by automation.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements such as PCI DSS, ISO27001, and Cyber Security Essentials.
  • Assist with Projects and Infrastructure Delivery to ensure alignment with business needs and compliance standards.
  • Proactively drive automation of infrastructure tasks to reduce time overheads and improve standard practices.
  • Update documentation, policies, and procedures, ensuring adherence across the team.
  • Ensure performance metrics and monitoring are in place to meet business expectations.

Requirements:
  • Production Infrastructure Support and some Automation experience.
  • DevOps experience in an agile environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and analysis.
  • Experience with scripting and automation with PowerShell, Bash, Python, SQL, Terraform.
  • Experience of software testing.
  • Knowledge of Windows Desktop and Server OS's, Linux, and Microsoft Azure Technologies.
  • Experience of Windows Storage Spaces and Storage Spaces Direct.
  • Experience with software products such as zScaler, CrowdStrike, SIEM, Zabbix, Service Now, Grafana, and Prometheus.
