About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Tesco Colleague. As a key member of our store team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide outstanding customer service, ensuring that every customer leaves the store feeling valued and satisfied.
  • Become knowledgeable about our products and services, making recommendations to customers to enhance their shopping experience.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales targets and maintain high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in seasonal, community, and charity events to create a positive and inclusive atmosphere within the store.
  • Stay up-to-date with store performance, understanding your role in driving sales, reducing waste, and achieving profit goals.

Requirements

  • A passion for delivering great service and building rapport with customers.
  • The ability to work well in a team, communicate openly, and build relationships with colleagues.
  • A commitment to being at work on time, well-presented, and ready to be a brand ambassador.
  • A willingness to take the initiative and make decisions that benefit our customers.

Salary and Benefits

The hourly rate starts at £12.02, increasing to £13.15 for stores within the M25. Additional payments may apply depending on location and skills. Our comprehensive benefits package includes a range of perks and rewards, designed to support your lifestyle and career aspirations.
