About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and enthusiastic Sales Assistant to join our team at The Entertainer in Bar Hill Tesco EXTRA. As a Sales Assistant, you will be responsible for delivering an exceptional customer experience, maintaining a well-organized and visually appealing toy department, and working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Merchandising and maintaining stock levels, including receiving and processing deliveries
  • Replenishing stock, pricing, and implementing promotions to drive sales
  • Providing excellent customer service, answering questions, and making recommendations to customers
  • Maintaining a clean and organized store environment, including the toy department
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues to achieve sales targets and meet customer needs
Requirements
  • Flexibility to work Monday to Saturday, between 8am and 7pm
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to lift and move stock as required
  • Basic math skills and accuracy when handling cash and operating a point-of-sale system
