About The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Operations Specialist to join our team at The Citation Group. As a key member of our data engineering team, you will play a critical role in maintaining robust data pipelines and ensuring the reliability of our data warehouse.

Key Responsibilities
  • Proactively ensure the stability and performance of our data platforms and pipelines, identifying and resolving issues as they arise.
  • Develop and implement proactive communication strategies to notify stakeholders of any issues impacting them.
  • Manage small-scale changes to our data warehouse and oversee deployments to ensure seamless integration.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of team processes and procedures.
  • Design and maintain data pipeline performance reporting to inform business decisions.
Requirements
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills, with a keen attention to detail and ability to anticipate the needs of data users.
  • Programming experience in Python and expertise in writing, troubleshooting, and debugging advanced SQL queries.
  • Outstanding problem-solving skills and experience working with ETL/ELT, reporting, and analytics tools.
  • Understanding of cloud computing security concepts and experience with relational cloud-based database technologies.
  • Familiarity with open-source technologies and cloud tools, including AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.
