About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and innovative School Nurse to join our team as a Team Lead in the borough of Richmond. As a Team Lead, you will be working in a highly motivated and well-supported team, addressing the public health needs of our borough.

Main Responsibilities

  • Establish and maintain good working relationships with colleagues, the wider CSU healthcare team, and other health, education, and social care providers.
  • Provide facilitative and supportive leadership and management to the public health team members.
  • Have line management responsibility for the team, including authorizing annual leave, monitoring sickness absence, recruitment, performance management, and application of HR policies.
  • Initiate and lead service development activities.

Requirements

  • Registered Nurse/Registered Midwife qualification.
  • Specialist Community Public Health Nurse qualification in school nursing or health visiting.
  • Current NMC registration.
  • Evidence of continuing post-registration education and training.
  • Mentor training.
  • IT literacy.
