Occupational Therapist Specialist

We are seeking an enthusiastic and confident Occupational Therapist to join our Community Dementia Team in Oban, Argyll. As a key member of our multi-disciplinary team, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality care and support to individuals with dementia and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Deliver occupational therapy services to individuals with dementia, focusing on recovery and empowerment.
- Work collaboratively with the multi-disciplinary team to develop and implement personalized care plans.
- Conduct assessments, interventions, and evaluations to ensure optimal outcomes for service users.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with service users, families, and carers.
- Participate in team meetings, training, and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Degree or Diploma in Occupational Therapy.
- Registration with the Health Professions Council.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team.
- Driving licence essential.
