Job Description: As an emergency response specialist, you will be called out to various emergencies, including floods, fires, and chemical spills. You will require courage, physical fitness, and the ability to be part of a tight-knit team. Key requirements include living or working within five minutes of an on-call fire station, being over 18, and being physically fit.

The on-call firefighter training and development process includes a two-week initial training course and evening training sessions. After initial training, firefighters continue training throughout their career. The recruitment process involves online registration, interview, job-related tests, written tests, medical, and fitness tests.

Required Skills and Qualifications: To succeed in this role, you will need excellent communication skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a strong desire to serve the community. You will also require a valid driver's license and a willingness to undergo training and development opportunities.
