About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Retail Operations Assistant to join our team at Boots during the Christmas season. As a Retail Operations Assistant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our store, providing excellent customer service, and contributing to the success of our business.

Key Responsibilities
  • Pick and Pack Online Orders: Process online customer orders to a high standard using a handheld device, ensuring accuracy and efficiency.
  • Prepare Online Orders for Collection: Prepare online customer orders for collection from store or home delivery, ensuring that orders are ready for customers on time.
  • Stock Management and Delivery Support: Obtain the relevant information and locate the required stock from the stockroom and sales floor to pack and dispatch online orders, supporting the store's daily operational activities.
  • Teamwork and Problem-Solving: Work collaboratively with the team to solve any issues and meet daily targets, ensuring that the store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Requirements
  • Full Training Provided: We provide comprehensive training for this role, but you will need to have the following essential skills or experience:
  • Process-Oriented and Paced: Enjoy following processes and working at pace, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency.
  • Team Player: Enjoy working collaboratively as part of a team, with excellent communication and listening skills.
  • Technology-Savvy: Be comfortable learning about and using new technology, including handheld mobile devices to process online orders.
Desirable Skills
  • Retail or Warehouse Experience: Experience in a retail or warehouse environment would be beneficial, but not essential.
  • Product Knowledge: Familiarity with the products Boots sells would be an advantage, enabling you to quickly identify products to pack online orders.
