Job Title: Warehouse Despatch Operative

Location: Purfleet, Essex

Job Type: Full-time

About the Role:

We are seeking a motivated and organized Warehouse Despatch Operative to join our team at Ocado Logistics in Purfleet, Essex. As a key member of our despatch team, you will be responsible for loading individual totes into frames, which are then loaded into our delivery vans for our customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Loading totes into frames for despatch
  • Sorting and organizing totes coming back to site
  • Dealing with returns and helping with the in-house tote wash machine
  • Sorting stock for our shop or charities we support

Requirements:

  • No previous experience necessary, just a positive attitude
  • Must be over 18 to apply
  • Ability to work in both ambient and chill (0 to 5°C) sections of the warehouse
  • Ability to lift up to 25kg weights and be on your feet and mobile at all times
  • Ability to handle meat and alcohol products
