Job Title: Criminal Solicitor

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Criminal Solicitor to join our team at NPA Recruit Ltd. As a Duty Solicitor, you will be responsible for representing clients in criminal proceedings, providing legal advice and guidance, and developing defence strategies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent clients in criminal proceedings, including bail hearings, trials, and appeals.
  • Provide legal advice and guidance to clients facing criminal charges.
  • Interview clients to gather relevant information and evidence for their case.
  • Review police reports, witness statements, and other documents related to the case.
  • Develop defence strategies and arguments to support clients' innocence or mitigate charges.
  • Negotiate plea bargains with prosecutors on behalf of clients.
  • Attend court hearings and present legal arguments on behalf of clients.
  • Prepare and submit legal documents, such as motions, briefs, and appeals.
  • Keep clients informed about the progress of their case and advise them on potential outcomes.
  • Uphold ethical standards and confidentiality in all client interactions.
