Job Title: Senior Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Senior Support Worker to join our team at Meridian Business Support. As a Senior Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing shift management and support to our team, ensuring the highest levels of care for our young people.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Provide shift management and support to the team, ensuring tasks are effectively completed and company policies are adhered to.
  • Model best practice approaches during challenging behaviors, ensuring coherent and consistently high levels of care.
  • Work collaboratively with the middle management team to ensure the best interests of our young people, staff, and company are met.
Key Tasks:
  • Ensure care plans, risk assessments, and key working sessions are up to date and effectively implemented daily, representing best practices and reflecting the child's views, wishes, and feelings.
  • Establish and use methods to evaluate the quality of care provided by staff within the home, making improvements where necessary and providing accurate and timely feedback to team members.
  • Model best practice approaches to working with and supporting children with challenging behaviors, building staff confidence and ensuring a regular use of effective handovers and debriefs for staff.

We offer a competitive salary of £29,000 - £30,000 per annum, a 36-48 hour week, and 28 days annual leave (including bank holidays). If you are a motivated and experienced individual who is passionate about providing high-quality care, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
