We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Head Host/Hostess to join our team at The May Fair Hotel, a 5-star luxury hotel in the heart of London. As a key member of our front-of-house team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional service to our guests and ensuring that every interaction is memorable and enjoyable.

About the Role:

· As Head Host/Hostess, you will be responsible for supervising a team of hosts and hostesses, providing guidance and support to ensure that our high standards of service are consistently met.

· You will assist with staff training, ensuring that all team members have the skills and knowledge required to deliver exceptional service to our guests.

· You will work closely with the bar and front-of-house teams to ensure seamless service delivery, coordinating and supporting the team to ensure that every guest has an exceptional experience.

About You:

· You will have previous experience working in a high-end food-led operation, ideally as a host or hostess.

· You will be competent in IT applications such as OpenTable, Adecco, and Micros, and able to achieve a 100% pass mark in Micros competency tests.

· You will have excellent attention to detail and customer service skills, with impeccable command of the English language, both written and spoken.

· You will be passionate about food and beverage, with a keen interest in keeping up to date with the latest trends and developments.
