Job Description

The Aspire Training Team is seeking a dedicated and passionate individual to fill the position of Level 5 Childcare Apprentice as a Nursery Manager, covering Maternity Leave.

We are looking for someone who is passionate about early years and staff development, a dedicated and approachable leader. The ideal candidate will have a passion for childcare and early childhood education, along with strong leadership skills.

This is an exciting opportunity to complete a Level 5 Apprenticeship in a leadership role within a friendly team at a fantastic setting. Your Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Manage the day-to-day operations of the nursery, leading on operational management and coordination of the childcare provision.
  • Work closely with staff, children, and equipment to plan and implement the Early Years Foundations Stages (EYFS) working towards an outstanding level of care.
  • Maintain our Good Ofsted accreditation by monitoring and assessing the quality of provision, ensuring policies and procedures, best practice, and standards are maintained.

Requirements:

  • A Level 3 Early Years Childcare Qualification is essential when applying for this role.
  • GCSE's A*-C/4+ in English Language and Maths, or equivalent i.e. functional skills.
  • Must be able to obtain clear DBS.
  • At least 2 years' experience of leadership within an Early Years Setting or suitable experience.

Estimated Salary: £28,000 - £32,000 per annum, depending on experience.
