We are looking for a reliable and organised Housekeeping Assistant to join our team at New Care. As a Housekeeping Assistant, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene within the care home. This will involve completing daily and weekly cleaning schedules, following guidance from the Head Housekeeper, and contributing to the achievement of the home's standards for housekeeping. You will also be required to undertake general cleaning tasks, follow and carry out any other cleaning duties as delegated by the Head Housekeeper, and carry out laundry duties when required. Key Responsibilities:

  • Complete all daily and weekly cleaning schedules
  • Follow all guidance from Head Housekeeper
  • Contribute to the achievement of the Home's standards for Housekeeping
  • Undertake general cleaning tasks
  • Carry out laundry duties when required

Requirements:

  • Previous non-domestic cleaning experience
  • Ability to operate cleaning equipment
  • Ability to follow simple written and verbal instructions
  • Communicate effectively with other team members
