Senior Residential Support Worker

Job Summary:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Senior Residential Support Worker to join our team at SGS Care Ltd. As a key member of our residential care team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to children and young people in our care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide individualized support and care to children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and psychological needs are met.
  • Work collaboratively with the residential care team to ensure a safe and nurturing environment for all service users.
  • Develop and implement personalized care plans, in consultation with the multidisciplinary team, to meet the unique needs of each child or young person.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of policies and procedures to ensure the highest standards of care and safety.
  • Participate in regular training and development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge in residential childcare and support.
Requirements:
  • Level 3 in Residential Childcare or equivalent qualification.
  • 1 year of experience working in a children's residential setting or a similar environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with children, young people, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work flexibly, including evenings, weekends, and sleep-ins.
  • Full UK driving license.
