Key Responsibilities:
  • Installation and Maintenance: Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of low voltage electrical systems, including lighting, power distribution, fire alarm systems, security systems, emergency lighting, and access control.
  • Testing and Inspection: Conduct regular testing and inspection of low voltage electrical systems to ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and relevant codes.
  • Fault Diagnosis and Repair: Identify, troubleshoot, and resolve faults in low voltage electrical systems, using appropriate diagnostic tools and techniques.
  • Preventive Maintenance: Carry out planned preventive maintenance tasks to minimize equipment downtime, increase system reliability, and extend the lifespan of low voltage electrical systems. Create and maintain maintenance schedules.
  • Compliance and Safety: Adhere to all health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Comply with electrical regulations, codes, and standards to ensure safety and minimize risks.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate effectively with other team members, contractors, and clients to achieve project goals and customer satisfaction.
  • Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all work performed, including maintenance logs, inspection reports, work orders, and equipment inventory.

Requirements:

  • C&G Level 2 and 3 Diploma Electrical Installation (Or Equivalent)
  • C&G 2360 Parts 1 & 2 (Test & Inspection cert preferred)
  • Strong Electrical & HVAC experience
  • Knowledge of heating and air conditioning systems
  • Knowledge of building fabric and experience in carrying out basic fabric reactive repairs when required
  • Sound understanding and experience of meeting Health & Safety obligations about maintenance activities
  • Must have a full UK driving license
