Security Officer

As a Security Officer at Sodexo Group, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and security of our clients and the building they work in. Our probation centre in Rugby is a unique environment, where you will interact with ex-offenders and probation staff on a daily basis.
Key Responsibilities:- Greet staff and visitors, ensuring they adhere to security protocols and maintain a safe environment for all building users.
- Monitor CCTV, Access Control, and other protective systems to prevent security breaches.
- Log and transfer calls, relay messages, and provide guidance and advice to visitors, clients, contractors, and staff.
- Conduct regular patrols throughout the shift to maintain a high level of security awareness.
- Interact with staff, residents, consultants, visitors, and management, as well as local police and fire authorities.
- Must be over the age of 18 and hold a valid SIA license.
- Knowledge of security techniques and site emergency procedures is essential.
- Due to the nature of the site, a full DBS clearance is required.
