We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Teaching Assistant to join our team at ISP School. As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the learning and development of our students.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide individualized support to students, promoting their academic and personal growth.
  • Assist the classroom teacher in delivering lessons, preparing materials, and maintaining a positive learning environment.
  • Monitor and report on student progress, identifying areas of strength and weakness.
  • Supervise students during non-classroom activities, including extracurricular events and school trips.
  • Collaborate with teachers and other staff members to develop and implement effective learning strategies.
  • Contribute to the development of lesson plans and educational materials.
  • Build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues, fostering a supportive and inclusive community.
Requirements
  • Hold a strong educational background, preferably to A-level, with a minimum of GCSE Grade C or equivalent in English Language and Mathematics.
  • Previous experience in a similar role, ideally in an educational setting.
  • Experience working with students with Social, Emotional, and Mental Health (SEMH) needs.
  • Ability to lead on a specialism, such as Reading, Mathematics, or Forest School.
  • Proven behavior management skills and techniques.
  • Commitment to ongoing professional development and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to undergo an Enhanced Disclosure & Barring Service (DBS) check.
