Exciting Opportunity for a Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Business Development Manager to join our growing team at Reed. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for identifying and pursuing new business opportunities, building strong relationships with clients, and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct Market Research: Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities.
  • Schedule Meetings: Arrange meetings with potential clients to discuss their needs and showcase our products/services.
  • Promote Products/Services: Effectively communicate the value of our products/services to meet client needs and exceed expectations.
  • Create Sales Contracts: Develop and negotiate sales contracts that meet client needs while ensuring legal compliance.
  • Maintain Sales Records: Accurately record and track sales activity, revenue, and customer interactions.
  • Offer Post-Sales Support: Provide reliable support to clients after the sale to ensure their satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Establish Relationships: Build and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers to drive repeat business and referrals.
  • Mentor Team Members: Share knowledge and expertise with new team members to ensure their success and growth.

Desired Skills & Qualifications:

  • Proven Experience: Demonstrated experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role, with a proven track record of sales success.
  • Sales Background: Proven expertise in sales, with a strong understanding of customer needs and market trends.
  • Customer Support: Background in customer support is advantageous, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer experiences.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient in MS Office and CRM software, with the ability to learn and adapt to new technologies.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to build strong connections with clients and colleagues.
  • Time Management: Effective time management and planning abilities, with a focus on meeting deadlines and achieving sales targets.
