Senior Estimator Position Overview

Bennett and Game Recruitment LTD is seeking a highly skilled Senior Estimator to join their team. As a Senior Estimator, you will be responsible for engaging with a diverse range of projects, from large-scale infrastructure developments to smaller ground engineering tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Take ownership of opportunities from the initial enquiry stage through to the handover with the delivery team.
  • Collaborate closely with in-house engineering and delivery teams to craft detailed and effective tender proposals.
  • Engage in Early Contractor Involvement (ECI) during the early stages of prospective projects.
  • Coordinate design efforts for Design & Build (D&B) contracts.
  • Prepare estimates and develop compelling tender submissions to secure new work.
  • Presentation of geotechnical solutions to potential clients, clearly communicating their value and benefits.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience in the specialist ground engineering field.
  • Strong understanding of geotechnical principles.
  • Proven experience in estimating packages related to piling, slope stabilization, ground anchoring, or grouting.
  • Ability to manage time effectively and meet deadlines.
  • Strong communication skills, comfortable engaging with colleagues, prospective clients, external consultants, and other industry professionals.
  • Experience in estimating from first principles.
