Join Our Team as a Senior Educational Psychologist

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Educational Psychologist to join our innovative and supportive team at Salford Educational Psychology Service (EPS). As a Senior Educational Psychologist, you will play a key role in enhancing our service and making a positive impact on the lives of children and young people in Salford.

About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate and experienced Educational Psychologist to lead and manage our team, working closely with schools, families, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality services. You will be responsible for applying psychology creatively to maximize impact and contribute to Salford City Council priority areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and manage our team of Educational Psychologists, providing guidance and support to ensure the delivery of high-quality services.
  • Apply psychology creatively to maximize impact and contribute to Salford City Council priority areas.
  • Work closely with schools, families, and other stakeholders to provide high-quality services and support.
  • Develop and implement innovative projects and initiatives to improve outcomes for children and young people.
  • Provide professional supervision and support to team members.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Educational Psychology or a related field.
  • HCPC registration as an Educational Psychologist.
  • Leadership experience and a track record of delivering high-quality services.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • A commitment to applying psychology creatively to maximize impact and contribute to Salford City Council priority areas.
