Learning Mentor

Are you passionate about making a positive impact on the lives of young people? Do you have a knack for supporting students with Special Educational Needs (SEN)? Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated Learning Mentor to join a dynamic secondary school in central Bristol.
Main Responsibilities:
- Provide academic and social support to students with SEN, fostering a positive and inclusive learning environment.
- Collaborate with the class teacher to deliver tailored learning plans, ensuring students receive the support they need to thrive.
- Facilitate small group interventions, helping students overcome challenges and achieve their goals.
Requirements:
- Experience working with children or young people, with a strong understanding of SEN strategies and support techniques.
- GCSEs in English and Maths, with a passion for education and a commitment to student success.
- An empathetic, calm, and patient approach, with excellent communication skills.

Important Details:
- Location: Bristol
- Hours: Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 3:30 pm
- Contract: Permanent contracts available after an initial trial period
