Job Opportunity: Construction Solicitor with Contention Experience

Location: London Area

Job Type: Permanent

Salary: £90,000 (Flexible depending on experience)

We are seeking a skilled Construction Solicitor with contentious construction law experience to join our in-house legal team on a permanent basis. As one of the largest construction companies in the world, we are responsible for major projects across the globe.

The successful candidate will take on a varied caseload of contentious construction law matters from a range of projects. This role is based in the London area, but we encourage candidates living further afield to apply.

The ideal candidate will have experience in supporting contentious matters, including adjudications, supervising external solicitors, and assisting with training and know-how within the business. They will also advise on the day-to-day conduct of adjudications and smaller disputes.

This is a rare and exciting opportunity for a Construction Solicitor with contentious experience looking to make the move in-house from Private Practice or a lawyer already in-house seeking a new challenge in a global construction company.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supporting contentious matters, including adjudications
  • Supervising external solicitors
  • Assisting with training and know-how within the business
  • Advising on the day-to-day conduct of adjudications and smaller disputes
