**Job Description:**

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Radiographer to fill a 12-month fixed-term position as an X-Ray Department Manager. As a key member of the X-Ray Department, you will be responsible for managing a team of Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners to deliver high-quality imaging services to patients with musculoskeletal conditions.

**About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to lead our experienced team and take charge of our X-Ray Department. You will be responsible for managing a team of Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners, undertaking a wide range of radiographic examinations, and participating in the Imaging On-Call rota, extended working day system, and weekend duties.

**Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage a team of Radiographers and Assistant Practitioners.
  • Undertake radiographic examinations, ensuring high standards of technique and patient care.
  • Work within departmental and Trust policies and procedures.
  • Develop and implement new protocols and procedures.

**Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you must have excellent leadership and management skills, a flexible approach, and the ability to work well under pressure. You will need to be motivated to learn, enthusiastic to develop your skills, and able to maintain a professional attitude at all times.

**Salary:** £40,257 - £62,105 per annum (inclusive of shifts and on-call payments)
