Behaviour Mentor Job Description

At Reed, we are committed to creating a nurturing and inclusive environment for students with Special Educational Needs (SEN). We are seeking a Behaviour Mentor to support our students in achieving their full potential through personalized learning and care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with external agencies and professionals to ensure comprehensive student support.
  • Work collaboratively with teachers and other support staff to develop and implement personalized learning plans.
  • Provide emotional support and guidance to students, helping them to manage their behaviour and develop positive relationships with peers and staff.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of strategies to promote positive behaviour and reduce challenging behaviour.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children or young people with SEN.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, psychology, or related fields are desirable.
  • Opportunities for professional development and training.
  • The opportunity to make a significant impact on the lives of young people.
