Community Healthcare Professional

We are seeking a dedicated community healthcare professional to join our team and provide high-quality cancer treatment services to patients in their own homes, covering Belfast and Northern Ireland.

Job Description:

This role offers the opportunity to work with a leading specialist in Cancer Care, delivering exceptional oncology services. As a Community Healthcare Professional, your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting regular blood tests and toxicity assessments to monitor patient health.
  • Administering IV and oral chemotherapy medications to patients in need of treatment.
  • Performing pump disconnections and line care to prevent complications and promote healing.
  • Providing IM/SC injections to patients requiring additional treatment.
  • Working independently in the community while staying connected with a supportive nursing team.
  • Staying up-to-date with new technologies and therapies in oncology care to provide cutting-edge services.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • An active NMC Pin as a Registered RGN Nurse.
  • Experience in Oncology, Haematology, or Chemotherapy.
  • Skills in cannulation and venepuncture to administer treatments safely.
  • A valid driving licence to travel to patient locations.
  • A SACT Passport or equivalent qualification to demonstrate expertise.
