Job Title: Production Instructor - Wood Assembly

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced and skilled individual to join our team as a Production Instructor - Wood Assembly. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing supervision, knowledge, and skills to prisoners in a specialist woodwork workshop.

About the Role:

We are looking for an individual who has relevant work experience in a production environment and is familiar with using industrial standard machinery and equipment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of woodwork production techniques, as well as excellent communication and influencing skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Supervise and Train Prisoners: You will supervise and train prisoners in aspects such as health and safety, machine usage, and tool handling.
2. Set Targets and Manage Performance: You will set targets and manage performance to ensure delivery of contractual arrangements.
3. Maintain Quality Standards: You will conduct regular quality checks to ensure that products meet the required standards.
4. Complete Administrative Tasks: You will complete administrative tasks, including prisoner reports, regime monitoring information, and training records.
