We are seeking a talented Civil Design Engineer to join our team at HPRtalent. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing and analysing civil structures, particularly within the water industry, energy, renewables, highways or infrastructure sectors.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Applying knowledge and experience independently or while supervising a team.
  • Being responsible for projects and programmes of work within the consultancy, particularly in design.
  • Collaborating with internal and external teams to lead project delivery.
  • Performing technical design and analysis for new and existing steel and concrete structures using appropriate software and guidelines.
  • Preparing project briefs, scopes of work, and bid proposals.
  • Managing time and budgets to meet project milestones and schedules.

The successful candidate will have a degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, ideally chartered or working towards, and a minimum of 2+ years post graduate experience in designing and analysing civil structures.

Key skills will include knowledge of structural engineering codes, reinforced concrete design, steelwork design, geotechnics and soil-structure interactions.
