Job Title: Part-Time Speech and Language Therapist (SALT)

About the Role:

We are seeking a qualified Speech and Language Therapist (SALT) to join our team at NonStop Consulting. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading and managing the speech and language strategy at our schools in Coulsdon and Crawley.

Key Responsibilities:

- Manage SALT strategy: Oversee and implement speech and language therapy for a small group of pupils with low to medium needs.
- Work with pupils: Provide direct SALT support to pupils requiring qualified input.
- Support classroom strategies: Direct and supervise SALT assistants and teaching assistants (TAs) to implement effective communication strategies within the classroom.
- Staff training: Lead and manage training for school staff, ensuring they are equipped to meet the speech, language, and communication needs of the pupils.

Requirements:

- Qualified Speech and Language Therapist with HCPC registration.
- Experience working with children and young people, ideally in an educational setting.
- Strong collaboration skills to work alongside SALT assistants, teaching staff, and other professionals.
- Ability to deliver staff training and guidance on communication.
