Maintenance Engineer Position

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Engineer to join our team at The Recruitment Co. in Fleetwood.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting regular inspections, performing maintenance tasks, and implementing improvements to our equipment and facilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Carry out daily walk rounds to identify potential issues and implement preventative maintenance
  2. Complete planned maintenance tasks on all equipment, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems
  3. Design and install new systems, including electrical installations and pipe work
  4. Process purchase orders and coordinate with contractors
  5. Assist in the development of risk assessments and train other team members
Requirements:
  • Prior mechanical engineering experience or equivalent qualifications
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and Outlook)
  • Valid driving license
  • Skilled in welding and fabrication
  • Knowledge of PLC units, refrigeration, and food safety
  • Familiarity with health and safety regulations
Working Conditions:

The selected candidate will work standard Monday to Friday hours with overtime opportunities available.

Salary:

Estimated salary range: £50,000 - £65,000 per year based on experience
